This is basically creating a visual of topics new required and connecting it with other relevant topics. It gives the clear idea about what your studied and what are the important points to remember.
For example a family tree. Like the root is grandfather and grandmother. The branches are father, uncles and aunts. You may also use different colors to categorize so that it makes it easy for your brain to understand.
Teaching what you studied.
This is very effective technique in deeply understanding what you studied.
For example you can gather few of your classmates and friends to explain what you studied. Explaining them will help your brain to store the information more clearly and for longer duration.
When you teach others, your brain activity recalls all the concepts and if you are confused or stuck, then you can correct it right away. It will also be helpful for others.
Writing what you learnt.
After learning or watching any video don’t just summarize it, instead write in your own language.
When you write, your brain works faster than your hands. It will increase your confidence and prepare you to give your best in the exams.
But keep it precise and pointwise. It should be understandable and avoid to write unnecessary lengthy notes.

Acronyms.
Whenever memorizing lengthy answers, I find it difficult to remember the terms and series of terms. So I use acronyms.
It is not a rocket science but just taking the first letter of the terms which you are unable to remember and making one word to remember all those terms. It’s just like a short form. For example,
TEAM – TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE.
You can make it as you want. It can be funny as well. It is just to make the terms easy for you in which you are struggling to remember.
Regular revisions.
Revisions are a very necessary part in remembering. It means to revisit what you studied previously. It is not reading everything from the start but to summarize the concepts.
If revisions are not done properly, then you may forget what you have learnt and it may create a problem during your examination. So, it is very important to revise on regular intervals.
Revisions can be done on weekends or on holidays. It can also be done on every off days. It will keep you calm and avoid stress during examinations.
